STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship is not a program. It is a way of life. It is rooted in an awareness that we have been abundantly blessed by God. Our lives, our families, and all our possessions ultimately come to us from God. This awareness leads us to be grateful. Our response to God’s generosity is to be generous ourselves and to commit to give generously of our time, talents and treasure for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
2019 Stewardship of Campaign
Thank you for being a parishioner at St. Mary's. Your investment of time, talent and treasure is instrumental in our mission: St. Mary's Catholic Church is a community for all people to encounter Christ, know Christ, and proclaim Christ.
At this time each year, we traditionally ask our parishioners to contemplate their financial stewardship and reflect on their commitment for the coming year. We ask that you take a moment to reflect on God’s spiritual and material blessings in your life and to prayerfully make a commitment to either begin, maintain or increase your offertory contribution. When we embrace stewardship as a way of life and begin to nurture and share our gifts, we experience God’s love in so many aspects of our lives. Blessings are returned to us in ways never imagined!
Your offertory contribution allows us to operate and maintain our facilities, and enables us to continue the important work God calls us to do. We are able to offer many opportunities for our community to deepen their faith and to share in the love of Christ through the Sacraments, Outreach, Adult Faith Formation, Youth Religious Education, and our School.
“Give and gifts will be given to you, a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and over flowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.” (Luke 6:38).
